Found this on Digg, IBM engineers take a look at open source content management systems and decide to go with Drupal.
We are currently testing out Drupal as a potential replacement for Joomla!, our current content management system for all our sites.

I’ve been evaluating Drupal for a while although I haven’t had the time to give to the evaluation to get an adequate assesment here is what I like about it so far over Joomla:
1. AJAX Support
2. Dynamic/flexible templates one of the major problems we’re having with joomla is finding a template that works well independent of the resolution settings on a user’s computer
3. Since its compatible with PHP5 it allows for more XML support since PHP5 supports both saxon and simple xml the 2 most prominent XML engines
I’ll comment more on this as I go through the evaluation of drupal

Let us know how you like Drupal. We (ilovemychurch.org) are currently using Joomla as well. I like it, but I’m actually considering moving to Plone for our next re-design.
