The Coptic Archdiocese of North America and Saint Anthony Coptic Orthodox Monastery, with the blessing of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, have started work on CopticWorld.org, a centralized community site for Coptic Orthodox Christians.
From their FAQ…
CopticWorld.org aims to bring together the Coptic Community together in three ways:
Unite – Support – Provide
CopticWorld.org can help UNITE the Coptic Community by making us aware of each other! Want to know what church trips are happening in a neighboring city? Want to know what projects are being started in our churches in Europe? CopticWorld.org can make this possible. CopticWorld.org contain community oriented content including:

Will Joomla CMS be able to handle all those requirements that the website needs to fulfil?
I don’t think Joomla would be able to handle it…Drupal may have a chance. I think they are having something developed, not sure what platform it will based on.
