Switching to Lingo
Posted by Andrew Mitry under VoIP/Telecom
Taking advice from Om Malik and a former SunRocket employee, I moved quickly and signed up for service with Lingo, requesting that they transfer my phone number from SunRocket (sounds like they should be able to port the number over). I went with Lingo’s $14.95/mo with 500 long distance minutes, they also have a $21.95/mo all you can eat plan. I chose Lingo because they are backed by Primus, an established player in the telecom field, and they come highly recommended from a few friends. If you are interested, contact me, and I’ll refer you (we both get a $25 credit).

Me interested in learning more … I’ve been looking to dump our home ATT line.

I’ll write an update once I am up and running.

Lingo offers ‘International Phone Numbers’ – you can get a local phone number in the UK even if you’re in New York. Then your relatives in the UK can dial a local number for them, but reach you in the US. Lingo users can order International Phone Numbers for 14 countries.
The special offer is one month free, free shipping, free activation and free equipment. The other plan is Talk 365, an annual calling plan for $195. The Chatter Box promotion has proved to be of more interest to new customers. http://www.lingo.com/sunrocket gives users a choice between two plans.
Andrew do update once you are fine.
