This past Sunday, my cousin, Daniel Habib (now Fr. Daniel), was ordained to the priesthood at the hands of His Eminence Metropolitan Hedra and His Grace Bishop Serapion. He will serve as a priest for the Diocese of Los Angeles at Saint John Coptic Orthodox Church in Covina. Congratulations to him and his wife Marsha, I pray that God grants them an amazing, fruitful ministry.

We are so happy to have father Daniel in our church!
The servants of this church have been praying for a priest for the youth for over 6 years!
We hope that we can learn from him the virtues of patience and humility, which are much needed in our lives today. May the lord bless him and his household and give us the understanding to live with the lord always and read the lifegiving truth in the Gospel.
May God bless Fr Daniel’s service for many years
The church in Boston rejoices with the church in LA in this blessed day that the Lord had made.
Congrats to Abouna Daniel and Marsha and everybody in St. John’s church
Thank you for all your kind words. Keep us in your prayers. We feel blessed to be a part of the John’s community.
Andrew, thanks for posting the pictures.
Nice video. I’m taking a course on the basics of Orthodox spirituality at my university. I’ve become completely fascinated by the different traditions and hope to continue in my studies.

WOW!!!
Congratulations Fr Daniel!
It’s a small world… I’m one of the youth that visited as part of the Sydney Australia Trip. I attended one of his sermons at the youth meeting.
May God Bless him and bless his service and the church of St John’s Covina!
